i have no idea where they would fit into my life, both physically and aesthetically, but i think there is something so entrancing about them.

also, i'm sure that my rather colorful book collection would not too nearly as chic as the white and grey palette they have going.

ok. it's official. room cleanse 2010 has begun.

new duvet cover, new shams, new furniture.

so far, i'm incredibly inspired by yellow and grey, which i love.

and with yellow being my most favorite of colors, i'm excited to use it to bring joy and happiness into my room!

plus, after seeing that amazing chair at crate & barrel the other day (see previous post),

i have made the executive decision to add an aqua color into my mix.

fantastic. i'm loving it.

these ikat pillows on etsy are absolutely adorable.

the ikat thing wasn't my thing at first, but after seeing such different renditions of it the past few seasons, and plus the added bonus for being a sucker for color and prints, it's kind of growing on me.

and for $40, they are a great pop of color on some summery, crisp white sheets without being a huge overbearing statement.
